From the rich and comforting pork chop noodles to the crispy and golden Hong Kong-style French toast, each dish is crafted with care, celebrating the beloved comfort food of the region.

The reviews from satisfied customers reflect the essence of this hidden gem. CK Chan raves about the value for money, highlighting how each ingredient from the eggs to the milk is bursting with flavor. They state, “流浮山橫巷裡,價錢經濟,蛋有蛋味,奶有奶味,非常好,首推。” (In Lau Fau Shan’s winding lanes, prices are economical, and the eggs taste like eggs, the milk tastes like milk, very good, highly recommended.) This is a testament to the freshness and quality that Sang Lee delivers.

Another patron, Momo. Sau, reminisces about their visit after a day at a strawberry farm, recalling their sampling of the café’s signature dishes. While they noted the setting could use some sprucing up, the flavors—particularly the fried shrimp dumplings—were nothing short of memorable. With the pork ribs rice also earning a mention, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

While it’s true that Sang Lee might be a bit off the beaten path, Na Me suggests that once you're in the area, this local treasure truly contributes to an authentic slice of life. If you're in Lau Fau Shan, this café is a must-visit not just for its culinary delights, but also for the sincere charm and candid experiences it offers — a true hallmark of Hong Kong's food culture.

Whether you’re a local or a traveler, Sang Lee promises a dining experience that delights the senses and warms the heart. Come for the food, stay for the experience—this café is ready to welcome you in with open arms and delicious dishes.

The pork ribs rice was delicious, but not great enough to worth the time travelling to this remote neighbourhood restaurant. But if you need to be nearby, this is a good place to experience a local slice of life.

3 Feb 19: we went there after strawberry farm, the decoration and foods seem like went back to 80’s Hong Kong (although there is not very clean). We ordered some signature dishes, pork chop noodles, homemade shrimp dumplings (actually the fried one is the best, but they sold out already), crunchy chicken wings and Hong Kong-style France toast. All are made by order. Except the shrimp dumplings with soup that is not quite good, all other dishes are good. Drinks are good as well. Will come back again ! Please don’t go to their toilet, it is stinky and dirty. You may go to the one located near bus stop.
